Penis enlargement, sometimes entertainingly called male enhancement, is a technique that involves increasing the volume, length and firmness of the male penis.
How to enlarge penis
The procedures range from training to stretching equipment and surgery, with success and failure reports from around the world. Some of these are outright scams while others may be successful. Often in advertising for fraudulent products, the distinction between a temporary increase, that is, an erection, and a permanent increase is deliberately distorted.
One legitimate research has been conducted specifically regarding penis enlargement; where it turned out that any statements about a significant and constant increase can be attributed to biased or unsystematic, unverified objective research and may be on the side of the source's interests and feelings. There is currently no evidence that there are non-surgical methods that continuously increase both the thickness and length of the normal penis. A general study has been conducted regarding the safety and efficacy (or lack thereof) of the ingredients in various pharmaceutical and quasi-pharmaceutical preparations; but so far nothing has been found that forces traditional medicine to use them. There is also an inherent in some invasive procedures whose negative results range from skin tears and scarring to long-term loss of sexual function. As a result of the speculative nature of any hope of "improvement" and the many known cases of chronic trauma involved in this trial, many professionals are skeptical of the subject and tend to avoid this area.
Much of the commercial market for penis enlargement procedures is based on the unconfirmed claims that a big cock increases the sexual prowess and attractiveness of a potential partner.
Enlargement of a normal penis differs from seeking relief from the well-known medical condition of the microel, where surgery may intervene to increase the size of the organ for urination or sexual function. Concern about penis size can (in extreme cases) be a psychological / psychiatric condition that is best dealt with by qualified doctors.
Penis enlargement surgery
There are several types of surgeries, all of which carry the risk of similar complications. The second international consultation on sexual dysfunction concluded that most men do not want to undergo any surgery if they are properly informed about the approximate consequences and risks of complications.
Tablets and supplements
Penis enlargement pills, patches, ointments are commonly advertised all over the internet. Many products contain harmless substances, but there are many products that have not been tested for safety and side effects at all, and no product has been scientifically proven to be effective.
Physical methods of magnification
A number of physical methods have been used in an attempt to enlarge the male penis. To date, none of them have proven to be effective. Techniques include stretching, augmentation using light weights and increased blood flow and / or blood pressure in the penis. There is also a significant "overlap" between methods designed to enlarge the penis and methods designed to achieve a different effect, specific problems such as reversible impotence, increased erection duration, improved sexual orgasm and so on.
Penis pump
A penis pump is a cylinder located in the penis that has a manual or self-contained pump that creates a partial vacuum around the penis that increases as blood flows to it. As the vacuum rises, so does the pressure in the blood vessels of the penis; excessive vacuum causes vascular damage.
Pumps can be used to temporarily overcome the symptoms of impotence, but they do not cure the disease itself: annular tourniquets must be used to keep the blood trapped inside the penis, otherwise the erection will die out. The pumps can work even when nerves or vessels are affected, preventing natural erections, but excessive or prolonged use (over several hours) will cause long-term damage.
Pumps should be used very carefully to avoid serious injury: if they are over-excited, blood vessels may rupture and blisters may form.
Kazem, Hosseini and Alizadeh investigated the effectiveness of such pumps for permanent enlargement of the penis. They examined 37 men whose penis was less than 10 centimeters long and did not notice any significant change in penis length after six months of using the pumps, although 30% of them were satisfied with the method. The conclusion of the article suggests that vacuum treatment of the penis is not an effective method of enlarging it, but it does give some men some psychological satisfaction.
The pumps have been used successfully in the treatment of men with Peyronie's disease, which causes unusual shortening and curvature of the penis. A study by the London Department of Urology, in 31 men, found "clinically and statistically significant improvement in penis length, angle of curvature and pain after 12 weeks of using a vacuum pump. " In this study, subjects with Peyronie's disease were pumped twice daily for ten minutes. for 12 weeks. The extra penis length, an average of 0, 5 centimeters, was a side effect found in about a third of the subjects and was not the focus of the study.
Clamp
Clamping is a very risky and dangerous method. The purpose of the clamp is to increase the length of the penis using compression devices such as laces, cable clamp, tight ring used to restrict the flow of blood from the organs. The device is securely attached to the base of the penis and the man is engaged in "promotion" (extended masturbation). The metal ring is dangerous because the blood in the penis gets stuck, this may be the reason why it is not possible to subsequently remove the ring without emergency help through amputation or sawing the ring. Clamping can cause catastrophic long-term damage to the penis.
Hand exercises
Jelq
Jelqing is a physiotherapy method designed to achieve "natural penis enlargement" by increasing blood pressure and circulation. This is done by repeatedly stroking the penis in a squeezing motion from its base to the glans; special devices have been created to achieve the same effect. This movement is reminiscent of milking.
According to the BJUI article, the method is of ancient Arab origin; the Arabic word for "milking" is sometimes claimed as the etymological root of the term, but this is a controversial issue and the actual origin of the term becomes unclear.
Despite the undocumented statements by supporters of the method of effectiveness, there is no medical opinion confirming its effectiveness. In addition, medical journalist Christopher Wanjek said that the claim that the method "will enlarge the cavities in the penis, which is filled with blood intended to increase the erection, does not make biological sense. "
Although considered the safest of all "radical" penis enlargement methods, jelqing can cause blood vessel rupture, scarring, pain, disfigurement and desensitization of the penis.
Cosmetic methods
Instead of changing the actual size of your penis, you can make it look bigger by removing pubic hair or simply losing weight. Circumcision is also sometimes quoted (humorously) to make the penis appear more visible, both more and less.
